![]() Elspeth Young - ArtElspeth Young’s oil paintings express her lifelong fascination with capturing not only the human form, but the wonder of nature. Since graduating from Brigham Young University in 2003, she has worked fulltime as an artist, and while a diverse range of commissions has given her experience in various media, she now concentrates her painting primarily on religious art, in which her natural talent, exhaustive research, and craftsmanship are exemplary. She also contributes to every facet of The Storybook Home Journal™, which regularly features her photography and music, as well as her skill as a graphic artist. ![]() Ashton Young - ArtAshton Young is a professional artist working in stained glass, printmaking, and drawing. He is also experienced in gilding, framing, graphics, interior design, installation art, woodworking, lettering, painting, and photography, as well as project planning and implementation. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2003 with a degree in history. His seven years of professional experience includes a diverse and demanding range of commissions. His photography and creative projects appear in issues of The Storybook Home Journal™. My Father’s Captivity, a historical project featured in the Article Database on this site, includes his transcription of hundreds of pages of original source materials. The two volume set on Women in the Scriptures is schedule for publication, by volume, in 2009 and 2010. Elspeth Young has created the paintings of each woman featured in the book, while Al and Ashton Young will provide other illustrations for the book. |
