Email is the preferred point of contact for us because it is the communication channel most constantly monitored by all of us. We also prefer email because the channel is open 24 hours a day seven days a week and, frankly, is much more reliably monitored than telephone messages. Neither emails nor telephone messages are jobbed-out to a 3rd party, but are received directly by the Studios.
Messages sent via social media flow into the stream of digital communications received at the Studios; nevertheless, while these communications may be monitored, they are not subject to the same rigor as communications received via our commercial site or voice messages left on the Studios' land-line telephone system... only high-end custom frames
We have framed our own artworks for more than 30 years, and during that time we have provided a variety of framing services to patrons upon request. For many reasons—including constant changes in the availability of moulding styles—we cannot offer off-the-shelf framing options or response times typically associated with such a service. The BenHaven Archives does not offer access to its papers and artifacts (except through digital copies), nor is it possible to visit or tour the Archives. The Archives is neither staffed nor housed to provide such services.
In connection with My Father's Captivity, Al Young Studios published digital copies of most of the original materials, upon which the book is based, in 2009. This was done as a public service, with the objective of providing free online access to families and descendants of prisoners of war, as well as access for students, writers, researchers, and other interested parties... Before requesting a rush order from Al Young Studios, please be aware of the following:Expedited shipping is already built into our shopping cart. Consequently, expediting the shipping of a product does not require a request to rush an order.
With rare exception, all Studios' inventory is printed on demand; therefore, rushing an order means printing the product more quickly than usual. And inasmuch as Al Young Studios out-sources all printing services, rushing an order involves not only arranging for a third party to produce the item more quickly, but printing it without delaying other orders whose delivery is already scheduled... We have added a Newsroom to our flagship Internet site (www.alyoung.com).
The Newsroom presents the blog posts and blog-page contents that have appeared on our blog suite since we initiated them in January 2010. Categories associated with each Newsroom article offer the same functionality and view of content that have been available on the Studios' blogs. And because of the way the Newsroom presents article summaries, we sincerely hope visitors will find that the Newsroom actually makes it easier to peruse the hundreds of articles accumulated during the last four and a half years...
